Origin: Dealu Mare-Urlati, Romania
Type: Red, Dry, 14,5%
Variety: Feteasca Neagra, Cabernet Sauvignon and Merlot
Tasting Notes: this deep red with purple notes offers great aromatics both mineral and vegetal, with powerful emerging dark fruit, and just a tiny hint of alcohol. The taste delivers lots of currant, blackberries, sloes and a warm touch of sweet vanilla coffee. It is heavy, big, with great acidity. The finish leaves a sour cherry jam note along a dried fruit character.
Other: Drink from 2012. It needs air. 1 hour in a decanter should do. Aging potential-10 years at least. Price: 20 euro.
